All of that jiving around

Jom Comyn

—Playground Waltz

So, today while walking to school i lived through the two minutes of silence before turn away, felt blessed by all things aural and then was reminded of the absolute beauty in songwriting symmetry.  With remanence of a young Simon Joyner, and the spirt of Cohen all to familiar to us all, Jim strips everything from his mid-bliss sound pulling us in to the ultimate coda: Contentment. Jom is playing a show Wednesday at E-towns most fantastic establishment, and EVERYONE should go. Ay-ay

Tune-Yards

—Gangsta

Probably the most feet shuffling song i’ve had the pleasure to jive to. Off to work now, time to be a gangsta. If only professionalism would allow it.

Gift Eaters

—It Lifts, Sways

Yellowknife is much wilder then i thought. I see the same fox at least once a day, or at least one of his relatives. Stuck in Old town these past two weeks, only ever ventured out for food, and/or the museum with its labyrinth of archives. I was told that this experience would be lucrative, however it seems to have produces any covetable amount of income. Whatever, at least i am not stuck dwelling on my problems at home, i can be anyone here, and i’ve decided to be someone, at least once.

Attack in Black

—Im Going to Forget

I guess it’s just a sickness, rapt deep into my mental framework. So overwhelming and tiresome, that it seems fit to procrastinate. Await another day to relinquish my sickness. It’s o.k though; Everyone must once. I’m not afraid of displacement, i don’t think anyone really is, i think that my fear lies in the thought that i just might forget what i was, and continue on evolving in and out of desired identities. Onward and Wayward.

Just like some drunk person once told me:

a foot no longer walkin’

is probably dead.

transient nodes: make it rain--a transient nodes mixtape

transientnodes:

been in a heavy soul / hip-hip / r&b kick lately so i thought i’d gather some of my most recent plays and wrap it up in a nice, tidy mixtape. this one’s definitely hard on the beats so if you’re in a soft, frolicking in the meadows kinda mood, you might wanna skip it. BUT if you wanna…

As smooth as red velvet cake, and possibly as rich, Shlohmo comes out of my obsession with Low end theory. Pretty much anything with enough bass to kick your pillows as you sleep has been installing small springs on the bottoms of my shoes. Hurrah Hurrah for the world blues! Geoff Berner tonight, I’ve been practicing my waltz all week.
